So, the EGG token acts as a tool for voting or adding proposals to the EGG DAO through the Voting smart contract. Voting entails locking your EGG token for the duration of the poll, and the weight of your vote is proportional to your EGG share in the overall poll.

As you noticed, you can do both staking and liquidity mining on EGG. To explain in simpler terms, staking is similar to putting cash into a savings account. You lock a certain number of crypto coins and wait for a specific amount of time before they are unlocked, and you receive your staking rewards. Usually, you will gain interest on the crypto you staked, but in EGG’s case, you can earn an additional currency as well. As for liquidity mining, the advantage of using EGG is that now you will not need to have both of the assets to add liquidity to a liquidity pool. The value of the one crypto asset you add will be equally split between the two cryptocurrencies in the pool.

A significant advantage of using our platform is our low fees. The transaction fees on all our features (trading, staking, liquidity mining, bridging, and NFTs) are ≈0%, thanks to which our users can make transactions at much more affordable fees than on other platforms. In addition, currently, you can start staking Ethereum with as low as $50 instead of the previous 32 ETH.
