Zhangshu, formerly Qingjiang County (Tsingkiang) (清江县), is a county-level city under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Yichun, in the west-central part of Jiangxi Province. With a 1,291 km2 (498 sq mi) land area, it has 536,500 inhabitants. It is the first county in Jiangxi Province to make the China Top 100 County list. Since the city was formerly a significant trading hub for camphor laurel oil, the name literally translates to "camphor laurel." Chinese herbal medicines are well-known in Zhangshu.
