Cedar Mill Coins

Cedar Mill is a suburb in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area of the United States; it is a census-designated place and an unincorporated community in Washington County, north of U.S. Route 26 and west of the Willamette Stone. It was named after a sawmill on Cedar Mill Creek that used to cut Western Redcedars, a tree that used to dominate the area. Even though the mill had stopped running in 1891, the pond could still be seen in the 1960s. It was located close to the intersection of 119th and Cornell Road. When the Cedar Mill U.S. post office first opened its doors in 1874, the name was officially created. The population of the community was 14,546 as of the 2010 Census.
