What Is Recovery Right Token (rrt)?

Recovery Right Tokens (RRTs) are advanced tokens proving a restricted response, contingent commitment of the Bitfinex Group. RRTs are notional credits, are exclusively subject to the Bitfinex Group’s recuperation of Losses supported during a robbery in August 2016, and are subjected to all remaining cases against the Bitfinex Group, including claims connected with the Losses.

RRTs were at first made as a motivating force for BFX token holders changing over completely to value; that in case of any recuperation of taken bitcoins from Bitfinex, BFX token holders would be reimbursed first, trailed by any excess bitcoins being disseminated among RRT holders. As of April 03, 2017, generally extraordinary BFX tokens have either been changed over completely to value or redeemed.
