Orekhovo-Zuyevo is an industrial city in the Moscow Oblast of Russia. It is situated on the Klyazma River in a forested area 85 kilometres (53 miles) to the east of Moscow. Russian word orekhovo, which is frequently pronounced as just "Orekh," means "nut." The name of the city comes from the 1917 merger of three towns.
