On the south bank of the Humber Estuary, near to the North Sea, is the port city of Grimsby, often known as Great Grimsby, which serves as the county seat of North East Lincolnshire, England. People from Grimsby are referred to as "Grimbarians," and football fans are frequently referred to as "codheads" in jest. The day of Great Grimsby is January 22. After Lincoln, Grimsby is the second-largest town in Lincolnshire in terms of population, with Scunthorpe coming in third.
