Cornwall, England's Truro is a civil parish and cathedral city. It serves as the county seat, the only city in Cornwall, and the commercial, leisure, and administrative hubs. 18,766 people were counted there in the 2011 census. Truronians are the locals of Truro. It grew as a trade centre through its port and as a stannary town for tin mining. With the establishment of the Diocese of Truro in 1876, it became the southernmost city on British mainland. Sights include the Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro Cathedral, the Hall for Cornwall and Cornwall's Courts of Justice.
