Nagqu 硬币

The northernmost city in the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China is called Nagqu. After Lhasa, Shigatse, Chamdo, Nyingchi, and Shannan, the former Nagqu Prefecture was formally recognised as the sixth prefecture-level city in Tibet on May 7, 2018. The 450,537 km2 (173,953 sq mi) regional area is bounded to the north by Bayingolin and Hotan Prefectures of Xinjiang, to the east by Haixi, Yushu Prefectures of Qinghai and Chamdo, to the south by Nyingchi, Lhasa, and Shigatse, and to the west by Ngari Prefecture. There were 462,381 people living there as of the 2010 Census.
