On the island of Oahu, in the Waianae District of the City & County of Honolulu, Hawaii, the United States, Mili is a census-designated place (CDP). Mili, which in Hawaiian refers to the rounded stones along the shore, implies "pebbly". On Oahu's Leeward Coast, Mili is situated between Lualualei Valley to the east and Mili Beach Park to the west along the Farrington Highway. It is situated 1.5 miles north of Nanakuli and 1.4 miles south of the town of Waianae, which are divided by the Miliili Stream. There were 11,535 people living in the town as of the 2020 Census. One 7-Eleven, a gas station, and a few housing developments can be found in Mili. Numerous dairy farms and vegetable plots are also located in the town. The Navcom Radio Transmitting Facility, which consists of two large, red antennae near the mouth of the Lualualei Valley, was founded in 1972 and at 1,503 feet tall, was the largest man-made building in the Western Hemisphere. The settlement is 20 feet (6.1 metres) above sea level.
