Khabarovsk 硬币

At the confluence of the Amur and Ussuri Rivers, roughly 800 kilometres (500 miles) north of Vladivostok, Khabarovsk is the main city and the administrative hub of Khabarovsk Krai, Russia. It is situated 30 kilometres (19 mi) from the China-Russia border. With over 500,000 residents, it is also the most eastern city in Russia. From 2002 until December 2018, when Vladivostok took over, the city served as the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia's administrative hub. Having surpassed Vladivostok in 2015, it is now the largest city in the Russian Far East. The 2010 Census found 577,441 people living there. It was formerly referred to as Khabarovka. Khabarovsk's harsh climate is typical of the interior of the Russian Far East, with very large seasonal swings producing bitterly cold winters and moderately hot, muggy summers.
